Short Stories
Each week, from the middle of April, 2020 to about the same time in 2021, I released a short story to friends and acquaintances. It seemed to me that people needed some diversion… or maybe just a little cheering up. Anyway, it was something I could do to ease the isolation of “The Year of Covid,” and as so often happens with such things, the project took on a life of its own. Eventually, several people asked me to collect the stories into a bound volume. Who was I to argue?
Since so many of the stories dealt with sudden change in circumstances, I decided to call the collection:
Inflection Points
You’ll find urban fantasy, magic, science fiction, and mild horror (I’m not into gore but scary is just fine). Some stories are flavored with a touch of Lovcraftian spice. You’ll also find a bit of dystopian fiction (how, these days, could there not be?). The pieces vary in length from very short “flash fiction” to multipart novelettes.
Inflection Points is now available on Amazon in both print and Kindle formats.
